In early 2005, the Board decided that, for the present and future generations of Schieveling Plantation residents, there will be a playground.  The site for the long anticipated playground is the HOA Park Area between Rhett Butler Drive and Shem Butler Court. The energetic Playground Committee developed a plan and budget that the Board modified and adopted after discussion at the April 28, 2005 HOA meeting, specially called to receive input from HOA members on the playground proposals.  Several residents generously contributed cash donations to help defray the construction costs.
